These terms govern your use of the DockBay control plane — the dashboard, API, and build service that orchestrate deploys to servers you own. By creating an account you agree to them.
This is a starting template written to match how DockBay works, not legal advice. Have it reviewed by qualified counsel before you rely on it in production.
The service
DockBay builds your applications on our infrastructure and deploys them to servers you connect. Your apps, their data, and their traffic run entirely on your own infrastructure.
Your responsibilities
- You own or are authorized to use the servers you connect, and you keep them secure.
- You are responsible for the applications, content, and data you deploy.
- You will not use DockBay to build or run anything unlawful, or to infringe others' rights.
Plans & billing
Paid plans are billed as a recurring subscription through our payment processor. Some usage — such as extra build-minutes beyond your plan — is billed as metered overage. You can cancel at any time; access continues until the end of the current billing period.
Availability
The control plane is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without a formal uptime commitment. Because your apps run on your own servers, they keep serving traffic even if the control plane is temporarily unavailable.
Your data & IP
You retain all ownership of your code, content, and data. You grant DockBay only the limited rights needed to build and deploy your applications on your behalf.
Termination
You may close your account at any time, and we may suspend accounts that violate these terms. On termination, apps already running on your servers keep running; you can continue to operate them independently of DockBay.
Liability
To the extent permitted by law, DockBay is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, and total liability is limited to the fees you paid in the preceding twelve months.
